The room went silent, Shalu’s eyes widening in shock as her cheeks flushed a bright pink. “Excuse me?” she blurted out, her voice a mix of disbelief and indignation. “You can’t be serious.”

Chitra, on the other hand, tilted her head, a playful smirk tugging at her lips as she glanced at Shalu. “You know,” she began, her tone teasing, “that’s actually not the worst idea I’ve ever heard.”

Shalu turned to her, her jaw dropping. “Chitra!” she exclaimed, her voice a mixture of exasperation and disbelief. “Don’t even think about—”

But Chitra cut her off with a soft laugh, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Oh, come on, Shalu-bee,” she said lightly, stepping closer to her friend. “I’ve always wondered how your belly tasted. Might as well find out now, right?”

“You’ve what?” Shalu said, her voice rising an octave as she took a step back, her arms tightening…
